Learning a foreign language takes time and dedication. You can’t just learn one day or two months, it is a slow process but the rewards are amazing. There are many reasons to learn: some reasons are practical, some aspirational, some intellectual and others sentimental, but whatever your reasons, having a clear idea of why you’re learning a language can help to motivate you in your studies.
If your work involves regular contact with speakers of foreign languages, being able to talk to them in their own languages will help you to communicate with them. It may also help you to make sales and to negotiate and secure contracts. Knowledge of foreign languages may also increase your chances of finding a new job, getting a promotion or a transfer overseas, or of going on foreign business trips.
Many English-speaking business people don’t bother to learn other languages because they believe that most of the people they do business with in foreign countries can speak English, and if they don’t speak English, interpreters can be used. The lack of foreign language knowledge puts the English speakers at a disadvantage.
I would like to encourage British people to learn other languages. With the recession and the economic crisis, finding a job has become more and more competitive and British people face a massive disadvantage against other European competitors. Don’t forget that vast majority of Europeans easily speak 2 or 3 languages, so where does that leave us?
At ” Spanish Tuition Nottingham” we would like to help you study at least one language: Spanish. Have a look at our broad range of courses from Holiday Spanish to Mastery level conversation groups, Business Spanish for companies and part-time Spanish A-Levels for adults.
What makes learning Spanish with us different? Not only we have experienced, native teachers and our lessons are fun yet effective, but we are also heavily involved in social events for our students with Spanish Movie events, Spanish Food & Music nights and Penfriend exchanges.
I hope, I have managed to inspire you to learn Spanish some time soon.
